Peter Tsang

Born and raised in Hong Kong within a traditional Chinese family. He came to Canada to study and graduated from the University of Alberta with a degree in science. His passion for physical and emotional well-being shifted Peter’s focus to health sciences, psychology and related studies. With his passion to learn more about healing, and the connection of body, mind and spirit, Peter left a successful career in the Real Estate industry to study at the International College of Traditional Chinese Medicine in Vancouver. After five years of study under senior doctors from the universities of Beijing and Guangzhou, Peter obtained the diplomas of Acupuncture, Herbology, and Practitioner of TCM. Peter also has certifications in Addiction Acupuncture (NADA), Facial rejuvenation Acupuncture, Microlight non-needle Acupuncture in pain management, facial/body rejuvenation and the “Ideal Weight Programme”, and is a registered acupuncturist with the CTCMA in good standing. With a commitment to improving the physical and emotional well-being of his patients, Peter continues to explore avenues to bring faster and longer-lasting results for his patients.

Practicing TCM acupuncture is a spiritual journey for Peter. As he stated, “When I am with a patient, I am energized and totally focused on helping him/her.” After surviving a life threatening illness and

witnessing other people’s suffering, Peter has a genuine compassion for life and improving each patient’s well-being. He focuses on relieving the symptoms of your illness as quickly as possible, while treating the root cause of the affliction. In addition to treating a wide spectrum of illnesses in a holistic manner including effective management of pain, Peter uses acupuncture as a form of preventive and life style medicine. He believes that if he can help his clients to achieve balance in body, mind and spirit, illnesses will not occur.

To help his patients achieve their ultimate health goals, Peter compliments his acupuncture treatments with adjunct therapies such as auricular acupuncture, cuppings, moxibustion, Tuina (Chinese medical

massage), and a dietary therapy based on Chinese medicine. For those queasy about needles, Peter offers microlight non-needle acupuncture. For preventive therapy, he offers the “Ideal Weight Programe” and electronic meridian testing. The Facial/Body rejuvenation therapy helps to slow the aging process, and boost self esteem, emotional and physical well being. Peter's satisfaction comes from seeing his clients getting healthier and more content everyday.
